Johnson County Ratifies Homeland Security Grant

Johnson County’s Commissioners have ratified a Homeland Security Grant in the amount of just over $4,800 for search and rescue response operations.

Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly submitted the grant award documents to the county for their approval, which was discussed by Chairman Bill Novotny.

The documents were signed by Mr. Crago and the state attorney general, according to discussions.
