Council to Consider Funding Request for Powwow

A funding request from the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Board to help pay for this year’s powwow on Rodeo Friday will be an item of consideration by the Sheridan City Council at their next business meeting. City of Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger informed the Council at a study session Monday night that the funding request will be an agenda item next week.

Councilman Clint Beaver requested that the funding request be placed on the agenda as a regular item and not under the consent agenda, so that the Council can have a debate on the issue.
