Vaccination Rates in Wyoming Remain Low

Ron RichterWyoming continues to have one of the lowest COVID-19 vaccination rates in the country with 32 percent of the state’s population being fully vaccinated. Wyoming Department of Health Spokesperson Kim Deti said all of the vaccines are free and are readily available throughout the state. Deti said the vast majority of the recent new cases of COVID-19 in Wyoming are people who have not yet been fully vaccinated.
Campbell County has the lowest vaccination rate in the state while Teton County has the highest. In Sheridan County, 32 percent of the population are fully vaccinated. The national vaccination rate is currently at 41 percent.
