Senator Barrasso: Border Crisis is ‘The Biden Effect’

U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming spoke on the Senate floor Tuesday about how the Biden administration’s policies are squarely to blame for the crisis on our southern border. Senator Barrasso also previewed the trip he plans to make to the border in Texas later this week to inspect the situation firsthand.
Barrasso said Immigration and Customs Enforcement just spent $86 million to rent hotel rooms for 1,200 families who illegally crossed the border and that it’s been reported that more than 100 illegal immigrants who tested positive for the coronavirus have been released into Texas, yet the White House is still in denial.

Fred Osborn is partly right. Except the border crisis is a result of US policies going back decades. We have no leadership in this country, merely a string of puppets who are able to manipulate and cater to people’s fears. Like the senator is doing with immigration.

Don’t trust this man. And certainly don’t believe his motives. This guy stood by as an attempt was made to undermine an election, thwart the constitution, and subvert the peaceful transfer of power. The repubs only want to stay in power, keep access to big money, and shine with status.
History of immigration is a long-standing problematic issue in the US. Ask our Native American friends. Would seem that an effort to work together to improve policies would be an obvious task for our elected representatives. But this guy only wants to gin up emotions so the repubs can regain power – and do what? Last administration didn’t improve immigration for the long run – just delayed the reckoning. US is a desirable place to live because of rule of law over rule of power, which the repubs tried to get around and keep their incompetent prez in office after he lost an election. Repubs are not to be trusted to safeguard our nation, regardless of how they try to distract by pumping up immigration problem.

Barrasso might be right and if he is correct the GOP may have real problems on their hands in future elections decades from now….mutual bi-party solutions to immigration are far better than verbal confrontations that go nowhere…that have gone nowhere

I am confused…….. It was a problem in 2016 then it goes away. Now it is back as a crisis again! Why? What has happened in the last 3 months? Why did this a problem start back up?

The “crisis” was a crisis of the Soul of this nation when we were ripping children from their parents without so much as a way to return them to their families. A child crossing our border alone to escape death, is a complete failure of our nation to try to help solve the corruption/gangs/drug wars in that child’s home. Barrasso failed to stop the Trump from wasting money on a Wall that would Never work. Barrasso failed to call Trump out for his child abuse programs. Barrasso’s support of Trump is sickening, not only for Trump’s storm trooper border policies but to he stood in silence when Trump tried to retake power by inciting terrorists to invade the Capitol building. In light of your complete failure as a Senator to protect this country, how dare you sir to blame Biden for this, Trump had Four years, Biden has had 60 days. Let’s give him a chance…

News Flash.. In all of human history, Walls have NEVER worked. Not the Great Wall of China, not Hadrian’s wall in the UK, not the Berlin wall and yes not the Trump wall that they have climbed, tunneled under and cut holes in. Desperate people will easily find ways to defeat all walls. If you are going to quote history, make sure you study your lesson first… We have had this problem for over 75 years, was “the Great Tweeter” in office that long???? I have to admit it did seem that long.

Apparently you have forgotten, That is there to protect OUR Capitol Building from right wing, Qnon, Proud Boy, Oath Takers, Trump supporters. No it is not OK, and will be removed as soon as those terrorists are in jail. BUT THOMAS IT IS NOT!!! Pelosis palace, nor Trumps, nor Schumer’s, nor Cruz’s but it belongs to the United States, that’s you and me which you have apparently forgotten.

Is that why Mexican nationals cut a hole in “t-rump’s wall” and drove an overloaded SUV through the hole? Walls do not work and never will in this day and age.Many of America’s problems were exasperated under t-rump’s failed loony show.

This is feeble Biden’s show, Fred, and you can’t deny it. Yesterday the puppet turned his mess over to Harris, which will only make things worse.
They told these folks to come before the primary, and had no plan on how to contain it. How many folks should open borders Biden allow in? 1 million? 10 million? 1 billion? Biden has lost control, if he ever had it in the first place. The plan of the WEF will be fulfilled, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

More talk, no action barrasso. Illegal immigration has been a problem for a very long time, but the members of the uniparty have done nothing to fix it. It’s easy to blame the marxist dems for this catastrophic crisis on the border, but we wouldn’t be in this predicament if it weren’t for the repubs. We Wyoming conservatives can do MUCH better than barrasso. Disputing the naysayers here, Trump did have a good effect in stopping illegal border crossings. A young illegal was asked by ABC news if he came because of biden, and he answered yes. When asked if he would have come if Trump were still the president, he said no.
Many of these illegals didn’t show up with biden tee shirts on for nothing.
