Ucross Seeking Volunteers in Art Gallery

Are you passionate about local history? Contemporary art? Supporting the community? Join our team as a volunteer Gallery Attendant.

Supporting on alternating Saturdays, Gallery Attendants create a welcoming environment in the Ucross Art Gallery and Café. Our goal is to connect each visitor with the Ucross mission to foster the creative spirit on our 20,000-acre working ranch through the artwork of our artist-alumni in the onsite exhibitions and installations.

Each volunteer is provided with a thorough training session, along with a daily stipend to off-set travel costs, invitations to exclusive events and a café and gift shop discount. Considered a part of the close-knit Ucross team, Gallery Attendants are invited to join special staff events, including weekly lunches, yoga with artists-in-residence, and holiday gatherings.

We are also gauging interest in volunteering for Ucross in our gardens, where we grow food for artists-in-residence, as well as tend to the beautiful landscaping across our residency grounds.
