Big Horn High School Graduation
Big Horn High School held its 2026 graduation exercises on May 30 at 1 p.m. in the BHHS gym. Mr, Ryan Fuhrman, Principal of BHHS, welcomed the crowd, to “the biggest celebration of the school year.”
Ayla Turley, Emmie Rambur and Noah Maurhoff performed the national anthem and Camden Burrup handed the symbolic key to Bridger Doke, handing off the charge to the junior class.

Maui Orum, student speaker, told the graduates that “Success is no longer what we see for ourselves but what we are willing to give others and to “love one another as I have loved you.”

Walker Billings was the other student speaker, and he said that over his eighteen years he has learned three lessons that he wanted to pass on to his fellow graduates.

Keynote speaker was Mila Stender, who retired this year. Before her speech she gave each student a high-five in honor of their graduation. Back on the podium, she put on a backpack and likened preparing for life to preparing for a long backpacking trek.

She ended with this;
There was a senior slideshow, and advice from the kindergartner class for the seniors.
Class motto was ‘Fortune Favors the Bold’; the class song was “Good Riddance,” by Green Day; class color was black and class flower was the snapdragon.
The diplomas were awarded, tassels were turned, and the 42 graduates are now ready to began their journey into adulthood.
