Aaron PalmerJohnson County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer, at the county commissioners’ last meeting, was asked to give a report on what the department has been doing at the Mikesell-Potts Recreation Area so far this spring.
Pehringer explained.
In addition to shoreline stablization, Pehringer said he picked up a like-new playground set previously owned by Arvada-Clearmont School that has been installed at the group area near the Lions Club Building that has the horseshoe pits and volleyball area.
The county, along with their partners Lions Club and Blakeman Propane, will continue to improve the recreation area.
