Aaron PalmerJohnson County has accepted and approved a Resolution authorizing County Road & Bridge to apply for 2023 Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funding for dust mitigation on county roads.
Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer explained which county roads are planned to be treated with chemicals for dust mitigation through the program.
The total application will be for just over $546,000 which includes $437,000 in federal funds and a local match of $109,000 from the county.
