There’s more work to do and one more week to do it.
Sheridan:
At the 4A East Regional Meet at Sheridan, the Broncs had a 12 1/2 point lead going into the start of the 1st and 3rd place matches, but Thunder Basin came back to swipe the championship away by 2 1/2 points.
Ten Broncs made it to the regional championship match in their respective weight class, with five of them winning.
Kolten Powers won at 120 pounds, Rudy Osborne at 132, Kelten Crow at 138, Dane Steel at 152, and Terran Grooms at 160.
Bronc Coach Tyson Shatto was named the 4A East Coach of the Year.
The state meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday February 25-26 at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.
Sheridan is last year’s 4A state runners-up, losing by 4 points to Natrona.
Of those Broncs that made it to the state championship matches last year, Colson Coon (runner-up at 160 pounds) is the only one that’s back.

Tongue River:
At the 2A East Regional Meet at Sundance, the Eagles place 5th out of 10 teams.
AJ Moline was the lone TR wrestler to make it to the championship, as he would win the regional championship at 160 pounds.
The state meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 25-26 at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.
