Sheridan County High School Basketball Recap: February 10-12, 2022

Sheridan has 2 weeks of games left on their regular season schedule, while every other Sheridan County team has 1 week remaining.

Sheridan Boys:

The Broncs got back in the winning column thanks to playing at home sweet home.

On Friday, the Sheridan won vs. Cheyenne South 83-51, and then won on Saturday home vs. Laramie 74-53.

The Broncs are 14-3 on the season and 4-3 in the 4A East.

Sheridan is scheduled to be back on the court on Friday, February 18th at home vs. Campbell County (7pm tip-off), and then play at Thunder Basin on Saturday (7pm tip-off).

Sheridan Girls:

The Lady Broncs split their weekend games at home.

Sheridan won on Friday at home vs. Cheyenne South, 59-14, but lost on Saturday home vs. Laramie 59-52

The Lady Broncs are 9-8 on the season, and 2-5 in the 4A East.

Sheridan is scheduled to be back on the court on Friday, February 18th at home vs. Campbell County (5:30pm tip-off), and then play at Thunder Basin on Saturday (5:30pm tip-off).

Big Horn Boys:

BH went 2-0 vs. Northeast Quadrant teams this weekend.

On Friday, the Rams won at Moorcroft, 66-39, and then won on Saturday home vs. Sundance 65-57.

Big Horn is 10-9 on the season, and 4-2 in the 2A Northeast.

BH is back in action on Monday, February 14th in a make-up game vs. Moorcroft (6pm tip-off), and then conclude the regular season on Friday at Wright.

Big Horn Girls:

The Lady Rams went 0-2 on the weekend vs. 2A Northeast Quadrant opponents.

On Friday, BH lost at Moorcroft 60-25, and the lost home vs. Sundance on Saturday 51-36

Big Horn is 2-17 on the season, and 0-6 in the 2A Northeast.

The Lady Rams are back in action on Monday, February 14th in a make-up game vs. Moorcroft (4:30pm tip-off), and then conclude the regular season on Friday at Wright.

Tongue River Boys:

The Eagles already have the #1 seed out of the northeast secured for the upcoming regional tournament.

On Friday, TR won at Wright 66-48, and then won home vs. 3A Thermopolis on Saturday 64-52

Tongue River is 18-3 on the season, and 7-0 in the 2A Northeast.

The Eagles play at Wright on Friday, February 11th (4:30pm tip-off), and then play in the home finale on Saturday vs. Thermopolis (3:30pm tip-off).

TR concludes the regular season on Saturday, February 19th at Moorcroft (4:30pm tip-off).

Tongue River Girls:

The Lady Eagles split their games this week, but won the one that mattered.

On Friday, TR won at Wright 59-54, but then lost home vs. 3A Thermopolis on Saturday 53-46.

Tongue River is 8-13 on the season, and 4-3 in the 2A Northeast.

The Lady Eagles conclude the regular season on Saturday, February 19th at Moorcroft (3pm tip-off).

Arvada-Clearmont Boys:

The Panthers had 2 games scheduled for this week, but only played 1 of them.

On Friday, A-C forfeited their game at Hulett, and then lost at home on Saturday vs. Upton, 76-15.

Arvada-Clearmont is 0-18 on the season, with an 0-6 record in the 1A Northeast.

The Panthers conclude the regular season this week, with their home final on Friday vs. Kaycee (4:30pm tip-off) and then play Saturday at Midwest (6pm tip-off).

Arvada-Clearmont Girls:

The Lady Panthers split their games vs. 1A Northeast Quadrant opponents.

On Friday A-C won at Hulett 45-42, then lost on Saturday home vs. Upton 72-34.

Arvada-Clearmont is 7-9 on the season, with a 3-3 record in the 1A Northeast.

The Lady Panthers conclude the regular season this week, with their home final on Friday vs. Kaycee (3pm tip-off) and then play Saturday at Midwest (4:30pm tip-off).
