Sheridan Elks Hoop Shoot is Saturday

The 2021-2022 Elks Hoop Shoot will be held this Saturday, December 18 at Sheridan Jr. High School.  The Hoop Shoot is for girls and boys ages 8 to 13.  

Kids have been shooting at their schools to determine the school champions in each age group.  The champions from each school are eligible to participate on Saturday. Any student who did not get to shoot at their school may participate on Saturday.  

For the 8-9 age group, registration starts at 8:30, the contest starts at 9. For the 10-11 age group, registration starts at 9:30, the contest starts at 10. For the 12-13 age group, registration  starts at 10:30, the contest starts at 11.  

The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national program celebrating its 50th anniversary.  Local winners will advance to the next level of competition.   If further information is needed, contact Gary Joy, Hoop Shoot Chairman at 752-9967
