BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs got off to a great start at Cheyenne Central and held off Central late for a 31-20 victory the Broncs are now 3-0 on the season.
The Broncs ran the opening kickoff back for a score and were on their was to a 31 point first half, Central took a penalty on the opening kickoff instead of taking the ball the Broncs had the Indians kick again, Head coach Jeff Mowry talks about making that decision.
Mowry says the only problem with the game was they had a little let down in the second half but hung on to win.
This week the number one ranked team Rock Springs plays here Friday night, Mowry says they have a great team and the Broncs are facing quite a team this week.
RAMS FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams lost at Wheatland 20-13, this week the Rams play their home opener against Newcastle.
EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Tongue River Eagles beat Burns 12-8 they are now 2-0 on the season and play at Torrington Friday.
COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys held off Northern Illinois 50-43 and stand at 2-0 the Pokes host Ball state at 2:00 Saturday.
VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team lost 3-0 at Casper Kelly Walsh and dropped their home opener to Cody 3-1,
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers dropped and dual meet against Laramie and won the Cheyenne South invitational Saturday.
TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams play swept all four matches from the Gillette schools ending their regular season Saturday, the Broncs and Lady Broncs host the tennis regional tournament Friday and Saturday.
X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners competed at an invitational hosted by Wyoming Indian high school the Broncs won the team title the Lady Broncs were 3rd.
JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks got their season off to a rough start as the Helena, Montana Bighorns hammered the Hawks in two games by scores of 10-0. They play two on the road this weekend at the Badlands Sabers in Rapid City.
