Bronc / Lady Bronc Golfers Place High in Casper / Lady Bronc Volleyball Opens Season in Riverton Friday / Bronc Football at Laramie Friday Night

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers teed it up in Casper the Broncs had individuals place 3rd, a tie for 4th, and had 3 others in a 3-way tie for 6th, but had to settle for the team runner-up spot.

Garrett Spielman shot a 2-day score of 161, Alex Sanders was 1 shot behind at 162 while Sean Sanders, Brock Owings and Kaden Bateson had scores of 165 each.

The Lady Broncs had 6 golfers in the top 10 as they would cruise to a 1st place finish defending 4a girls state champ Sam Spielman was the runner-up with a score of 154.

Libby Gardner and Izzy Laird tied for 4th with a score of 169.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team opens the season at an invitational tournament in Riverton Friday.

We sat down with Head coach Lori Byrd Tuesday and she lost several seniors but returns a solid group this season.

And with several returners practice has gone smooth for the last week and half.

And the tournament in Riverton will give them a good look at what the Western conference will look like this season.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams host matches with Powell and Cody Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete in the Laramie Relays and the Pentathlon Friday and Saturday.

X-COUNTRY – The bronc and lady bronc cross country teams run in Casper Friday.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Bronc football team plays their season opener at Laramie Friday the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start the broadcast at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys open their season at home September 4th against Montana state.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play at home Saturday night against the LA Rams kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
