Troopers win Three in Gillette / Rockies Host Rangers / Bronc Football Opens Mini Camp

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 12-9 overall after going 3-2 at a tournament in Gillette.

The Troops picked up victories over Bozeman, Montana 3-2 the beat Jackson 11-0 and Laurel, Montana 12-1. They dropped an 8-0 game vs Gillette and 8-3 against Casper.

They will play two games tomorrow in Cody and come back for home games Saturday against the Billings Halos that double header will start at noon.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies were off Monday, tonight they open a home series with the Texas Rangers first pitch is at 6:40 on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Bronc football team opens a mini camp today in preparation for a team football camp next week in Chadron, Nebraska.

HOOP JAM – The next big event in town is coming this weekend with the return of the 3 on 3 Hoop Jam basketball tournament hundreds of players and spectators are expected in town for the event hosted by the Sheridan high school booster club.

They host a BBQ during registration Friday evening at 5:30 play begins Saturday morning and will conclude Sunday afternoon.

TRAIL RUN – The 2021 Big Horn Mountain Trail run is coming prerace registration begins on June 17th, the 100 mile race starts June 18th with the 18.32 and 52 races starting on the 19th.
