Cowgirls Take on UCLA in NCAA Tournament Opener / Junior Hawks at Gillette This Weekend / High School Spring Sports Open This Week

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls will be a 14 seed when the women’s NCAA tournament opens Sunday they will play their opening round game Monday night against 3 seed UCLA the game will tip at 8:00 and we will have it live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Head coach Gerald Matttinson says the Cowgirls have hung their hat on defense all year and now the offense is starting to come around.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks play two in Gillette this week on Friday and Saturday night.

2021 HIGH SCHOOL SPRING SPORTS – The spring high school sports season is underway, a year ago the season shut down even before it started because of the pandemic and now we look ahead to the outdoor track season and soccer seasons.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams open the outdoor season in Casper Saturday at the annual “Glenn Legler” invitational at Natrona county high school.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open Friday at home with Buffalo and Saturday they play at Worland.
