Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball split games with Kelly Walsh and swept two from Rock Springs Saturday.

The Lady Broncs lost at home to Kelly 55-46 then went to Casper Saturday and drilled Rock Springs 50-24.

The Broncs Beat KW 80-59 and crushed Rock Springs Saturday 78-37, the Broncs were up ten at halftime and exploded in the third quarter going on a 27 to nothing run which put the game away and they cruised in the 4th quarter they had four players score in double figures and everyone who played scored Head coach Jeff Martini says it was a very unselfish effort picking up a big victory.

And he said the defense set up the big 3rd quarter.

This weekend the broncs and Lady Broncs host Cheyenne Central and East and Martini says the Broncs will face a tough weekend against two really good teams.

RAMS / LADY RAMS HOOPS – The Big Horn basketball both posted wins at Wright Friday, Saturday the Rams beat Rocky Mountain while the Lady Rams dropped their game with the Grizzlies.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES HOOPS – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles were swept over the weekend as they dropped games at Sundance Friday and lost both at home Saturday against Moorcroft.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING – The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers went 3-3 in six duals over the weekend in Laramie and Cheyenne.

BRONC WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers beat Capser Kelly Walsh in a dual match Saturday buy the final score of 44-26.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks swept Bozeman by scores of 8-5 and 4-2 they now own a 24 game winning streak, they put that on the line this weekend with two games in Gillette.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming Cowboys lost twice at San Diego state this week they host games with Colorado state Thursday and Saturday.

COWGIRL HOOPS – The Wyoming Cowgirls swept two from San Diego state they play at CSU Thursday and Saturday.
