Sheridan Junior Hawks Hosting a Cancer Awareness Weekend / Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoops Host KW Friday

SHERIDAN JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks host games Friday and Saturday night with Bozeman, Montana this weekend the hawks are hosting “Cancer awareness weekend” the players will be wearing cancer awareness jerseys this weekend and the team is holding an online auction of the game worn jerseys on their website sheridanhawks.com.

The auction is up and running now and Head coach Andy Schieb says a big part of the organization is giving back and it’s a great message to the players.

The Hawks also announced on their social media accounts that forward Tony Brings found out last week that his mom has been diagnosed with cancer and Andy says they will be helping out Tony’s family as well with this fundraising event.

The Hawks are leading the Frontier division and riding a 23 game winning streak and Schieb says they are playing well but there is a lot of season left.

They host the Bozeman Icedogs this weekend and they expect some good competition.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams host Kelly Walsh Friday and play Rock Springs in Casper Saturday. game times Friday are 5:30 and 7:00 and Saturday at 11:30 and 1:00 all four games will be broadcast on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BH BASKETBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams play at Wright Friday and host Rocky Mountain Saturday.

TR BASKETBALL – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles play at Sundance Friday and host Moorcroft Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers are back on the road this week for more Duals in Cheyenne and Laramie.

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers host a dual with Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday at 1:00.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys play at SDSU tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 that game will be broadcast on KWYO and 106.9 FM they play the Aztecs again Saturday night.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Cowgirls are hosting the Aztecs tomorrow and Saturday.
