INDOOR TRACK / FIELD – The Sheridan high school indoor track teams are off for another week until their next state qualifying meet,
The indoor season has been compressed this year for COVID 19 protocols so the chance to qualify for the state championships has been limited to less than a handful of meets and Sheridan high school Head coach Taylor Kelting says that puts pressure on the athletes to be at their very best each time they compete.
The state meet has been scheduled for one day only this year and only eight will qualify for each event and Taylor says the heat is on to make it to the state meet.
The next qualifier is in Gillette next Tuesday and a week from this Saturday their will be another non-qualifying event for the rest of the athletes.
