COVID Shuts Down Bronc Wrestling / SHS Hoops Host Cody Saturday / Cowboy Hoops Extend Winning Streak

WRESTLING – Due to several positive COVID-19 cases among Sheridan high school wrestlers and coaches school District two has suspended all high school wrestling activities for two weeks.

The decision was made in consultation with Sheridan county health officer Dr. Ian Hunter, district administration, the Sheridan high school activities office, and the coaching staff.

Impacted parents and student athletes have been contacted directly by the school activities office. Please contact Activities Director Don Julian with any inquiries.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys beat Omaha 82-78 last night for their 5th win in a row after the victory here’s Head coach Jeff Linder.

Their games with UNLV this weekend were called off because of COVID with the Rebels program so the Pokes are off until road games at Fresno state January 1st and 4th

COWGIRL HOOPS – The Wyoming Cowgirls play at Northern Colorado Sunday.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks play two in Helena, Montana tonight and tomorrow then take Christmas off and get back into action December 30th.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Sheridan high school basketball teams host Cody tomorrow with games at 1:30 and 3:00 join us for all the action live on News / Talk 930 KROE.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams dropped games against Buffalo last night the Lady Rams lost 65-21 and the boys fell 75-49 they host Greybull and Wind River tonight and tomorrow.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles are also hosting Greybull and Wind River this weekend.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers head to Green River for competition today.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host the Buffalo Bills Saturday afternoon kickoff is at 2:30 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
