Junior Hawks 13-1 at Helena This Weekend / Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoops v Cody Saturday

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are coming off a weekend of games in Mason City, Iowa they went 2-2 in games with North Iowa and the St. Louis Junior Blues the games don’t count on their season record as they currently stand at 13-1 leading the Frontier division.

Head coach Andy Schieb says the team needed some good competition out of the division and they got it in Mason City.

And with everyone dealing with the COVID pandemic he said they not only competed but they developed a great relationship with both teams.

This weekend they play two in Helena, Montana and he says these are important games to keep there winning momentum going.

They play in Helena Friday and Saturday then take Christmas off and get back into action December 30th.

SHS HOOPS – The Sheridan high school basketball teams host Cody Saturday with games at 1:30 and 3:00 we will broadcast the games live on News / Talk 930 KROE.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams have Buffalo, Greybull and Wind River on the schedule this week.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will host games Friday and Saturday with Greybull and Wind River.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers swept their Tuesday dual meets with Buffalo, Thunder Basin and Campbell county they beat Thunder 119 -58, Campbell 136-20 and Buffalo 92-87. The Broncs head to Green River for competition Friday and Saturday.

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers will be in Worland for duals on Friday and then at Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys will host Omaha tomorrow night pregame at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

COWGIRLS – The Wyoming Cowgirl play at Northern Colorado Sunday.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host the Buffalo Bills Saturday afternoon kickoff is at 2:30 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
