BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran at their conference meet the Broncs were first placing all five runners in the top ten the Lady Broncs were 3rd with two in the top five.
For the Lady Broncs Katie Turpin ran 2nd with Abby Newton 5th for the Broncs it was another dominating day with Austin Akers, David Standish and Reese Charest going 0ne, two, three followed by Blaine Johnson in 6th place and Sage Gradinaru 10th.
The 4-A state meet will be run Saturday in Casper, the 3-A meet will be in Afton and the 2-A state meet will be in Douglas.
BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs shut out Campbell county 49-0 for their 2nd straight win, Head coach Jeff Mowry says after a brief stumble the they got it rolling and ran away with the victory.
The Defense dominated and never let Campbell get anything going.
The Broncs end the regular season hosting Thunder Basin Friday and with a home playoff game possibly on the line it’s another big game.
RAMS / EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams jumped on Tongue River in the Thunder Bowl and won 49-7 this week is the final week of the regular season the Rams will play at Upton / Sundance while the Eagles will host Glenrock.
COWBOY FOOTBALL – This week’s Wyoming Cowboy football action is the start of the Mountain West Conference season with the Pokes playing at Nevada Saturday night the game will kickoff at 5:00 live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos won at New England 18-12 this week the Broncos host Kansas City Sunday afternoon.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers went 1-2 in duels over the weekend beating Cheyenne East and dropping duels to Laramie and Cheyenne South.
JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks and the Helena Bighorns games over the weekend were canceled because of COVID-19 concerns with the Helena team.
