BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams dominated in Cody the Broncs took the top four spots with Reese Charest taking first place followed by Austin Akers, Blaine Johnson and David Standish.

The Lady Broncs were 2nd with Abby Newton and Katie Turpin leading the way with 2nd and 3rd place finishes this week they run at an invitational in Gillette Friday.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team split road games in Cheyenne they beat Central Friday and dropped a five set match at East Saturday, this week they travel to play in the Border War matches in Rapid City.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles dropped their road match at Moorcroft they play at home against Wright Friday and at Big Horn Saturday.

The Big Horn Lady Rams hosted Kaycee and Sundance and dropped both matches they play at Moorcroft Friday and host TR Saturday

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers split duals with Thunder Basin and Campbell county beating Thunder in Casper Saturday they split beating Natrona county and losing against Kelly Walsh they will compete at home with the Casper schools Saturday.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team split their season opening games at Bozeman, Montana the Hawks won Friday 7-0 and dropped Saturday’s game 3-2 their home opening series will be will be Friday and Saturday against the Butte Cobras the puck drops both nights at 7:30.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs lost at Natrona county 38-31 in four overtimes. The Bronc offense struggled all night but put a late drive together score with 1:09 to play in regulation to tie the game at 10 getting the game into overtime.

A fumble on their second play in the 4th OT period that was covered by the Mustangs ended the game, after a tough loss Head coach Jeff Mowry.

The Broncs are now 3-3 and will play at Kelly Walsh Friday and Mowry says all they can do is go back to work and go out a play better Friday.

The Big Horn Rams knocked off number two ranked Torrington Friday 17-7 the Rams play at Glenrock Friday night.

The Tongue River Eagles lost at Upton / Sundance 26-7 the Eagles host Wheatland Friday night at 6:00

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The University of Wyoming Cowboys open the MWC football season at Nevada on the 24th and play their home opener against Hawaii on the Halloween.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play on the road Sunday afternoon at New England.
