UW vs COVID-19 / American Legion Baseball Opens

UW – The University of Wyoming athletic department is using the COVID-19 shutdown to get facilities and equipment cleaned while athletics are away from campus.

Associate Athletic Director in charge of facilities and event management Tyson Drew says with buildings vacant it has made it easier to disinfect facilities.

J.D. Jordan is the Director of athletic equipment and operations says they have some unique devices that help in the cleaning process.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – The Wyoming American Legion baseball season got underway Wednesday Cheyenne Post 6 shutout Casper 11-0 and Lovell beat Powell 8-3.

The Sheridan Troopers will play in Gillette over the coming three day weekend for Memorial day as the 2020 season opens they will open the season Saturday taking on Cheyenne.
