The awards and honors keep piling up for a Sheridan Lady Bronc wrestler.

Three-time state champ Becca Oetken, placed 4th at the 2025 National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) Folkstyle Wrestling National Championship Tournament in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

That earns her All-American status, because she finished in the top 8.

It’s the 2nd year in a row for the Sheridan HS senior.

She competed in the Girls 185 pound weight bracket and made it to the semi-finals, before ending up in the consolation bracket.

Of the 6 matches she competed in, she won 4 of them.

Seven other wrestlers from Sheridan and 1 from Big Horn also competed in the NHSCA tournament.

The boys compete against their own grade level (freshmen vs. freshmen, sophomores vs. sophomores, etc…), while grade level is irrelevant for the girls, because there’s not as many competitors.
