A Big Horn High School senior whose team has had a lot of success on the football field, will play for a college team that’s had a history of success at the national level.
Will Taylor has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Carroll College, located in Helena, Montana.
The offensive lineman helped the Rams win 2 of the last 3 Wyoming 2A Football State Championships, and also participates in both indoor and outdoor track and field.
He says it was his commitment to the game that got the attention of the Fighting Saints.
“I’m a short guy. I’m not the tallest, biggest guy ever and so I think they saw someone that had heart, saw someone that they knew would go to work everyday, go work their butt off, would be a great football player for them and would be an asset to them going, in these follow years, go win a couple of conference and hopefully national titles.”
Taylor says he plans to major in business.
The Carroll College Football team has won 6 NAIA National Championships, with the last one in 2010.
Since 1972, the team has won the Frontier Conference 30 times, the last one in 2021.
