A bond between sisters may be like no other and a couple of Big Horn Middle School students share that bond particularly at the free throw line.
This past Saturday (April 20th), Big Horn 6th grader Olivia Brogdon finished as National Runner-Up in the Girls Age 12-13 category, at the Elks Hoop Shoot National Championship Competition, held in Chicago, Illinois.
Her older sister Maggie was National Runner-Up last year in the same age category.
At this year’s National Championship, Olivia and the eventual winner from Green Bay, Wisconsin, each made 23 of 25 shots.
The 2 then went to a shoot-off, where each competitor was given an additional 5 shots.
The shoot-off had to go to a third round before a winner was decided, and Olivia was 1 shot short.
Payton Sorensen of Gillette placed 3rd in the boys age 12-13 category.
