Sheridan HS Boys Swimming And Diving Team Finishes 4th At 2024 4A WY HS State Swimming And Diving Meet

Sophomore Ben Forsythe won 2 events, Junior Josh Fackrell picked up 1 3rd place finish, and the all 3 Bronc relay teams finished 3rd, to help the team finish 4th at the 2024 Wyoming High School Boys Swimming and Diving State Meet held at Laramie.

Forsythe won both the 50 meter freestyle (21.56 seconds) and the 100 meter breaststroke (59.91 seconds).

In the preliminaries, his time in the breaststroke was 59.37 seconds, which is a new school record (old record was 1 minute 0.68 seconds set in 1989).

Fackrell finished tied for 3rd in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 55.36 seconds.

The 200 yard medley relay team (Lincoln Carroll, Luca Sinclair, Forsythe, and David Brown) had a time of 1 minutes 40.8 seconds, which is also a new school record (we’re trying to find the old record).

The 200 yard freestyle relay team (Forsythe, Sinclair, Dillon Lemon and Wyatt Olson) had a time of 1 minute 31.94 seconds.

The 400 yard freestyle relay team (Brown, Carroll, Lemon and Olson) had a time of 3 minutes 26.0 seconds.
