Bronc Basketball Players Named 2019-2020 All State / Wyoming has a new Men’s Basketball Coach

BRONC BASKETBALL – Two Sheridan Bronc basketball players repeat as 4-A all-state selections. Senior Gus Wright and Junior Sam Lecholat were on the team in 2019 as well, Lecholat was also named the 4-A player of the year.

Both Gus and Sam were also named to the 4-A East all conference team for the second straight year.

WHSAA – The Wyoming High School Activities Association has extended the suspension of the spring sports season to Monday April 6th and will reevaluate a time frame for starting up the season at that time. With schools in Wyoming being closed no practices or team activities can be held.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The University of Wyoming has a new men’s basketball coach it’s Jeff Linder former Head coach at Northern Colorado. Linder went 80-50 in four years at UNC including a 22-9 record this past season.

Former Sheridan college Head coach Steve Smiley was elevated to Northern Colorado’s Interim Head coach announced by the school Tuesday he has been at Northern Colorado on Linder’s staff for the last four seasons.
