Hawks Drop Playoff Opener / Broncs v Evanston Tonight at the State Tournament

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks dropped the opening game of their best of three playoff series with the Great Falls Americans 4-2 Wednesday night.

The Hawks will now try and stave off elimination hosting game two tomorrow night at 7:30 if they win they will hosting the deciding game Saturday night at 7:00.

BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan Broncs open the 4-A state basketball tournament tonight they open with the Evanston Red Devils the game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 we will have it for you live on KWYO and 106.9 FM and on our basketball web stream at sheridanmedia.com.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Martini says the big game is tonight to get started in making a run to try and get to the championship game.

The Broncs were the runners up in 2018 last year as the favorite in the tournament it ended with a devastating loss in the semi finals this year the Broncs fly under the radar a bit and they like the spot they are in.

They played Evanston early in the season and won that game but tonight there is a whole lot more on the line.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER – The start of the spring sports regular season opens next week with the Sheridan high school soccer teams at a two day tournaments next Friday and Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD – The outdoor track and field season starts with the Natrona county Early Bird meet nest Saturday.
