BRONC TRACK AND FIELD – The Sheridan Broncs won their second straight indoor track state title the team won every meet they competed in this season that run included a tremendous results at the Simplot games last month.
Head coach Taylor Kelting says the Broncs capped off a championship season dominating at the state championships.
Brock Bomar was outstanding for the broncs winning three individual state titles individual titles and ran on the Broncs state championship 4×400 relay team as well he was the champion in the 55 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters.
Other state champs included Ryan Karajanis winning the pole vault and Gage Vielhauer winning the shot put.
The outdoor season started officially yesterday the Broncs were the state runner up in 2019 and Kelting says they want to turn that loss into a title run this spring.
And he says after an emotional weekend they want to ease those athletes into the outdoor season.
BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan Broncs will open the 4-A state basketball tournament Thursday night against Evanston the game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 we will have it for you live on KWYO and 106.9 FMand on our basketball web stream at sheridanmedia.com.
JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks will play their 2nd round playoff series against the Great Falls Americans it’s a best of three series starting tomorrow night in great falls. The Hawks will host game two Friday night at 7:30 and game three if needed Saturday night at 7:00.
SOCCER – The start of the spring sports season included the start of Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer practice the regular season opens with a two day tournament March 20th and 21st.
