Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers ended a seven game losing streak sweeping a double header Sunday with Lovell by scores of 10-0 and 11-2.

The Troopers bats really came to life and Head coach Austin Cowen said they really needed those victories.

And it gives them a chance to build some momentum for the rest of the month before the full schedule kicks in starting in June.

Next up for the Troops is a home game Wednesday night against Gillette it will be a single nine inning game the first pitch is scheduled for 5:30 and we will have the game live for on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM we will also have the games live on our video web stream at sheridanmedia.com.

SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams will host the 4A East regional tournament play starts Thursday all games Thursday are loser out, the girls games will be play at Big Horn high school the boys at Sheridan high school.

The Lady Broncs will open with Campbell county Thursday at 5:00 and the Broncs will take on Campbell at 5:00 as well.

Semi finals will be played Friday at Sheridan high school and the finals and consolation games will be played Saturday.

Track regional meets start Friday the Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete at Thunder Basin high school while Big Horn, Tongue River and Arvada / Clearmont will all be in Torrington
