Cowboy Hoops Ends Losing Streak / Cowboy Football Happy to be Back in the Arizona Bowl / Winter High School Sports Season Starts Thursday

WRESTLING – The Sheridan bronc wrestlers will open their season Thursday hosting a dual with Worland JV’s start at 5:00 with the varsity going at 6:00.
The Tongue River Eagles open their season at a tournament in Powell Friday and Saturday
BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams tip off at a three day event in Riverton starting Thursday we will broadcast those games on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers will have their first competition in Laramie this weekend.
SKIING – Sheridan high school’s Nordic ski teams has their first competition in Laramie this weekend.
RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams basketball teams open their season this week at a tournament hosted by Burns high school.
TONGUE RIVER EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams start the season at home Saturday hosting Lovell.
JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back in the M&M center this weekend hosting the Great Falls Americans at Friday night’s game it’s volunteer, booster and billet recognition night, Saturday night they are hosting a toy drive, bring a toy worth at least 10 dollars and get into the game free both games start at 7:30.
COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys will play Ohio University in the 2022 Arizona Bowl December 30th, Wyoming Athletics Director Tom Burman joined in an Arizona Bowl news conference this week.
The Cowboys beat Georgia state 38-17 in the 2019 Arizona Bowl and Burman said they were glad to be back.
Burman was also asked about the NCAA transfer portal and how many players have left the Wyoming program the last three seasons.
COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys beat Texas A&M Commerce 91-76 Tuesday night to end a four game losing streak, the Pokes will host LA Tech Saturday night and we will have the game live for you Cowboy pregame starts at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.
