BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams were swept in Cheyenne dropping all four games with Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East this weekend they play at home hosting Cheyenne South Friday at 5:30 and 7:00 and Saturday it’s Laramie at 12:30 and 2:00

TR / BH BASKETBALL – The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams split their games Thursday the Lady Eagles took the girls game the Rams won the boys game.

Friday the Rams and Lady Rams split at Buffalo the girls won the boys lost and Tongue River split at Sundance with the girls winning.

SC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play split at Laramie county the Generals won their 4th straight the Lady Generals lost 79-66 both teams host Gillette Wednesday night games are at 5:30 and 7:30 at the Hoffman dome.

UW BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys lost at New Mexico Saturday the Cowgirls lost to the Lobos at home this week the Pokes host Colorado state Saturday while the Cowgirls play at CSU.

INDOOR TRACK – The Sheridan high school indoor track teams were in Casper the Broncs were first again while the Lady Broncs were 5th this week is the “Simplot Games” in Pocatello, Idaho events start Thursday.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers finished 5th in their conference meet they are off until the state meet begins in Laramie Friday the 21st.

BRONC WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers won three out of four home duals in a run that ended with a win over Cheyenne South Saturday the Broncs just missed sweeping the week with a three point loss to Cheyenne East the posted wins over Casper Kelly Walsh, Cheyenne Central and South, Head coach Tyson Shatto says they had a great week.

Now they start building toward regionals and state with two dual matches left in the regular season.

Thursday night they host Campbell county as they compete for the final time at home and Tyson says it’s a big night.

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks swept the Great Falls Americans taking the first game 4-1 then Saturday the teams played a scintillating game of hockey with the Hawks winning 4-3 in a six round shoot out following a scoreless over time period.

Head coach Andy Scheib says the players really ground out a nice victory Saturday.

Goaltender James Downie was terrific both nights and came up with some show stopping saves in the win Saturday.

And it was a game that they felt they had to win coming this late in the regular season.
