Carol Depew
Carol passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
She was born in Sheridan, on March 16, 1958, to Vernon and Helen (Sommerfield) Redder. She attended Holy Name School and Sheridan High School. On January 2, 1976, she married Martin Depew. Two children were added to the family in the following years, Sam and Heather. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother.
Over the years she worked for Century 21 Realty, Wells Fargo, Foster Grandparent Reading Program, and taught Aquafit at the YMCA for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her weekly pinochle games. Carol had a lifelong love of reading and music, and could always be found in the middle of a book. She believed any chore or job could be made easier with the right music. She had an amazing sense of humor and a talent for finding the silver lining in any situation.
Carol’s unwavering love and support, infectious laugh, and dazzling smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Carol is survived by her husband, Marty, and her children, Sam Depew and Heather Drog, their spouses, four grandchildren, and her five brothers, Chuck, Don, Steve, Bill, and Scott. Services are pending for the spring or summer.

With seeing her picture I am at a loss for words Marty and Carol have been great friends. We have not seen each other for a long time. Carol you Need I’ll be so missed. That smile says it all. My heart felt condolences and prayers for Marty Sam and Heather and their families

I just spoke with Scott today & had not heard of Carol’s passing. She was such a delight to be around. We loved her participation in the Kalif melodramas. My heart goes out to all of her family. Stay strong.

Carol always cheered up any area she came into and I loved being around her. Hugs to Marty and the kids on this loss of such a great soul.
