Erma Jeanne Boe

Erma Jeanne Boe passed away in her sleep in the early hours of September 20, 2021 at the Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center in Sheridan, Wyoming.

She was born to Gale and Marjorie Wyman in Deadwood, South Dakota, on February 9, 1934. She married Arthur Boe in Belle Fourche on August 11, 1961.

Jeanne had five children: James, Mary, Kathy, Mike (Jerri), and Cinda. Jeanne an adventurous spirit, living in South Dakota, Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming and Alamos, Sonora Mexico as well as traveling abroad. She had a passion for teaching and enjoyed 25 years as a primary teacher. After retiring from teaching, she and her husband ranched on the Lower Nowood outside of Ten Sleep for 15 years. When they closed that chapter, they headed south of the border to Alamos, Sonora, Mexico where they lived and kept their property. Due to health reasons, Jeanne returned to Wyoming. She always had a sparkle in her eye, radiating the love of the Lord. She touched everyone’s life and always leaned towards the positive, rather then the negative. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and daughter Mary. She is survived by children James, Kathy, Mike and Cinda; grandchildren, William and Sara Johnson, Nathan, Adam and Kaitlyn Helvik, Desmond and Keri Groseclose.

Celebration of life will be held at Kane Funeral Home October 1, 2021 at 10am with Pastor Scott Lee officiating, followed by an open house until 12pm.
