Susan Spielman

Susan Dianne (Harding) Spielman passed away on January 28, 2021 at her home with family by her side after a battle with cancer.
Susan was born July 31, 1959 in Washington DC at Walter Reed Army Hospital. She graduated from Wilbur D. Mills high school in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1977 and started working at Orbit Valve in Little Rock.
Susan married Ron Spielman on June 7, 1980 at the Old Mill in North Little Rock, Arkansas. They moved to Miles City, Montana for a short time where they recorded TV commercials for the local television station. They moved to Sheridan, Wyoming later in 1980. She worked as a secretary for Koester and Tarver, attorneys at law until 1990. Then she worked for Northern Wyoming Community College Foundation for about a year. In February of 1991 she was hired on at Century 21 where she worked as a secretary and the office manager for 30 years.
Susan attended the 1st Assembly of God and Sheridan Wesleyan churches. She enjoyed greeting people and helping out where needed. Ron and Susan sang at many weddings and church services. She loved to sew and do crafts, camping, fishing, 4 wheeling, water skiing and cross country snow skiing. She gifted many handmade items throughout her life. She also volunteered at the Trails End Guild.
Susan was always the first one at work and the last to leave. She always thought of everyone else before herself. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother Ava Harding.
She is survived by husband Ronald Spielman; children Brady Spielman (Ashley) and Jessi Szott (Trevor); grandchildren Shaylee, Brooklyn, Wilken, and Erianne; father David Harding and sister Donna Williams.
A Celebration of Life service for Susan will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10:00am at Sheridan Wesleyan Church. Inurnment to follow at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please bring a teddy bear in her honor to be donated to the children of the community who might need a fluffy friend in a time of need.

She was one of the first people I met when moving to Sheridan, WY. Truly a wonderful person. She was a help to us in many ways. The fun and crazy things that happened trying to water ski and snowmobiling together.


She will be missed.

Susan worked with us on a lot of projects at the Trail End State Historic Site. She was such a joy to work with and will be greatly missed. Sympathies to her family.

Dear Donna,
Roger and I are heartbroken about Susan. We will always have great memories of her and our time at Cloverdale Assembly as kids and teenagers. Our love to you and Brother Harding. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Our deepest sympathy to her husband Ron, and children, grandchildren and friends.
