Rickett Sworn Onto Johnson County School Board

Paul Rickett was sworn into his position on the Johnson County School Board during their regular meeting Monday night.

Rickett spoke to those attending the meeting after he was sworn.

He was chosen by the board from three candidates to fill the spot vacated by John Manzella who died unexpectedly in December.

He will serve the remainder of Manzella’s term, which will be up at the end of 2022.

Rickett will be able to run for election this fall to retain his seat, should he choose to continue to serve on the board.
