Sheridan County OKs Agreement for Upper Road Paving

The Sheridan County Commission has approved an agreement between the county and KJC Development, LLC for improvements to County Road #113, or Upper Road.

County Engineer Ken Muller explained what the agreement is about.

According to discussions, the county did not move ahead with the project last year because the bids submitted at the time were significantly higher than estimated so the project was postponed.

The agreement specifies the county will reimburse the developer at 50% of contract work completed and accepted by the county for a price of $20.65 a square yard.
