City of Buffalo Gets Clean Audit for FY 2020-21

The City of Buffalo has received a clean audit report for fiscal year 2020-21, which ended June 30, 2021.
Kevin Cornia with Carver, Florek & James CPAs, gave the audit report to the city council during their most recent meeting.
Cornia said the city also needed a Single Audit, which is a financial statement and federal awards audit of a non-federal entity that expends $750,000 or more in federal funds in one year.
The city needed the audit due to funding from the federal government stemming from the CARES Act.
Cornia also thanked City Clerk/Treasurer Julie Silbernagel and her staff, saying they were all “great to work with.”
