Job opportunities with Sheridan County

Sheridan County Commissioner Christi Haswell and Commission Chair Nick Siddle appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program to update residents on construction, housing and announce two open employment opportunities available.
One position is available in the Clerk of District Court Office. This position, deputy district court clerk, involves clerical and customer service duties in support of the operations of the District Court.
The ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent is required, as well as sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship or an internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
The other position is available in the Sheridan County Attorney Office. The position, legal secretary and administrative assistant, requires a high school diploma or general education, two years of clerical experience in a legal setting preferred and an appreciation of the obligations inherent in matters of legal confidentiality.
