Coffeen Avenue Rezone Ordinance Approved

An ordinance allowing for a rezone of 1.7 acres of property located at 2533 Coffeen Avenue, from R-3 Residential to B-1 Business was approved unanimously on first reading by the Sheridan City Council this week. City Community Development Director Wade Sanner said the property is at the corner of Coffeen and 4th Avenue East in south Sheridan.
The 1.7 acres contains a 946 square foot ranch-style home with a 480 square foot detached garage. The property is accessed by Coffeen Avenue to the west. The ordinance requires two more readings before the rezone takes effect.
