The Buffalo Pool Board, in a written report, updated the city council on the status of the Municipal Outdoor Pool, giving the number of passes, user numbers, and revenue generated by the snack shack.

Mayor Shane Schrader read a portion of the board’s report.

The snack shack has been accepting cash and checks but will be setting up a system that will accept debit and credit cards, according to the report.

This is the first summer since the pool was built decades ago that fees are being charged to use the pool.

The fees implemented this year to use the pool are $3 daily for those 3 and up; season passes are also available for $50 each per individual or $80 for a family of four, with additional family members for $20 each.

Seniors and veterans are not charged a fee.
