Aaron PalmerJohnson County’s Commissioners considered accepting a modified amount from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or TANF Grant funding through the Wyoming Department of Family Services’ Community Partnership Initiative program.
Three area entities applied for $61,000 in funding: Compass Center for Families for $25,000; the Buffalo Children’s Center for $16,000; and
the Boys and Girls Club for $20,000.
Ashlea Bassett, assistant to the county commissioners, explained what the state had allocated for the county, which then distributes the funds to the three entities.
