Rural Health District, Buffalo EMS Agree on 2022 Funding

At their regular meeting this week, the Johnson County Rural Health Care District Board and Buffalo EMS agreed to the amount the district will pay for ambulance services in 2022.

Board President Marilyn Connolly said the board has pretty well “hashed out” the numbers for the budget, including funding for Buffalo EMS.

She discussed how the two entities reached the agreement.

The offer is for $62,500 per month for a total of $750,000 for those services for fiscal year 2022.
