U.S. Senator John Barrasso of  Wyoming spoke on the Senate floor  Wednesday about what he called President Biden’s radical and unsafe Executive Orders on immigration. Senator Barrasso said now there are more than 11 million illegal immigrants in the country today. This is a group equivalent to the population of the entire state of Georgia, and this number has nearly tripled in the last 30 years.

Senator Barrasso

Senator Barrasso said the American people want safe communities, they want laws obeyed, and they want a secure border. It’s time to stand up to this radical agenda. Our immigration system is broken. Instead of breaking it further, we should work together to fix it.

“Our immigration system is broken.Instead of breaking it further,we should work together to fix it.” Then why haven’t you? That “wall” is nothing more than a propaganda tool and will never stop people from going through it,under it or around it.Y’all love that cheap labor instead of paying decent wages to real working American citizens, look no farther than the disgusting squabble over minimum wages, which by the way y’all have been arguing for generations.Lead, follow or get the hay out of the way and stop spreading propaganda.

good points Fred…as for the love of “cheap labor”…thank god cheap labor is an option…the Montana beet growers used less expensive (cheap) labor for decades and those laborers provided a valuable service to the area beet growers…disgusting squabble?…yes on many fronts…that’s why China has moved ahead in so many different ways…our representatives in DC are too busy “squabbling” to see what’s going on right in front of their noses

So that’s all the people south of the border are capable of? Such a bigoted statement.

that’s what you say…i never implied any such thing…dude…those people sneakin’ across the border most likely aren’t high school grads, college grads or rocket scientists…i’m for immigration in a big way…as long as everyone coming into the USA that finds employment is paying their fair share of income taxes…then i say let ’em in…let them grow…live long and prosper

Y’all HAVE invited others in…generations of carpetbaggers who run with the money. Now the ones invading your beloved state have intentions of staying awhile…thus the rising real estate prices.BTW…I have no fence to take down.Enjoy that crow.

As one conservative radio host says, “You can’t keep bringing there here without here becoming more like there.” Our immigration system has been a disgrace for 40 years. The vaunted Simpson-Mazzoli amnesty bill of 1986 started an avalanche of efforts whereby Democrats lied about border security and bamboozled the seemingly-dazed RINO “Republicans” over and over again until now this thing is TOTALLY out of control. Ask any border agent you happen to meet and s/he’ll tell you that the border was finally under control under President Trump and that now what we have is a smoldering pile of excrement. We’ll see how happy these Democrats are when they see what the cost (fiscal and societal) for this nonsense works out to be. It’s a mess of their creation and the RINOs simply aided them in subservience to their open border lobbyists (e.g. the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) as the latter delivered cheap labor. A pox on all of them. American society will never be the same thanks to these gutless politicians.

Pesky things like facts can certainly be a pain, illegal immigration has been falling slowly but steadily since 2000- and actually showed a steeper decline under Obama than it did under the malignant cheeto.

The border was in control under trump…LOL. Is that why they cut a hole in the newly installed “fence” and drove an SUV full of illegals though?Y’all love trump so much…disgusting.

A pox on them chucky??? Like the smallpox our European ancestors brought and then deliberately spread it among native Americans. Maybe you should ask Native Americans who the REAL aliens are. You are right about the “smoldering pile of excrement” it is the children that the Trump administration ripped away from their parents. Several thousands of those children have been orphaned by Trumpy Bear’s inhuman policies. That Trump action at the border is a POX and has left this country with a Stain on it’s Soul. Only Trump worshipers have forgotten those children, the rest of the World hasn’t.

More kids are being put in cages as I type. Ripping kids away from parents is a myth perpetuated by the MSM. Who built the cages, joe?

As I said Only trump worshipers have forgotten the videos, the photos and the testimonials by Republicans. It is easier to ignore the truth if one calls it a myth….. Sad!

He is absolutely correct in this statement; the people in power need to spend a minimum of 2 weeks driving the border or horse back checking things out with out the aid of an armed guard if they want a clear picture of what is happening; (if they dare).

None of them will, any more than the lefty posters here who sit and crow about the border but have probably never been within 100 feet of it. They probably can’t differentiate between the Rio Grande and the Grand Canyon. But they continue to spout off and endlessly pump leftwing spin into comment boards like this, now don’t they.

In here now, Fred, and the local sheriffs and BP are calling it a “catastrophic crisis” with Mexican drug cartels running the show. Paper cut out Biden is just letting it happen.

More kabuki theatre from john. How long have you been in the senate where you could have sponsored legislation to stop Ted Kennedy’s disaster? Rebubs want cheap labor, dems want more votes, and the World Economic Forum, along with the UN, want to spread fake 3rd world refugees into western nations because of globull warming.

Team joe will make that happen by starting more endless wars, and keeping the back door at the southern border open.

I was called by a friend today who asked me whether I was going to respond to any of the personal attacks or the silly nonsense posted in reply to my posts. I told him, “No, there’s no sense in doing that since they really have nothing to say but leftwing propaganda and ad hominem attacks, e.g. calling me “chucky,” or “oh, holy one,” referring to Donald Trump as “the malignant cheeto,” and calling anyone supporting any of the programs or policies he instituted “Trump worshipers.” In the final analysis, there’s really nothing to say to such people. So, rather than waste time and bandwidth on them, I just treat their posts as FLOTSAM and ignore them. Just wanted my friend to know why I don’t play “parry-thrust” with such people. Wanted the sane folks who read these boards to know that, too.

HaHa, Charlie. You crack me up. Let’s see if you can keep your erudite and alarmist opinions to yourself! Afterall, a “leftie” here, and a “leftie” there, pretty soon they add up to real trouble and the union’s in dire danger. Oh wait, it was the repubs who instigated storming the capitol, tried to stop the democratic process and for the first time in US history, interfere with the peaceful transfer of power to keep your fearless leader as govt. head. If you were a patriot and thinking man, could be time to recalibrate your threat assessment.

Your friend gives sound advice. We have very few liberals here in Wyoming but the few we do have seem to revel in childish personal insults and what people call gas lighting. Always rest assured they make themselves look like the spectacle and not anyone they’re interacting (I use that term pretty loosely) with.

Hey Clark. I’d love your explanation of gas lighting, and how the “liberals” in WY use it. Good to know someone with discerning insight is watching the repubs as they push hard for the working man and for individual thought. Hate to think someone was trying to get us ordinary Wyomingites to believe a real estate developer from NY wasn’t doing us good or looking out for our constitution! Thanks for your vigilance, we all benefit from your insight.
