The HUB on Smith is looking for individuals interested in joining the Help at Home Program team.
The HUB on Smith provides many services to Sheridan’s senior population. On top of being a center that provides much needed social interaction, The HUB also provides transportation in the form of Goose Creek Transit, Family Caregiver Services, home delivered meals and more. One program provides Home makers and Certified Nursing Assistants overseen by a Registered Nurse.
The HUB is offering positions for Home Makers in the program. Duties for the positions include assisting seniors with house cleaning services. Some seniors may no longer be able to perform typical house cleaning work, Home Makers visit those seniors and ensure that the living space is clean and presentable. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with paid holidays.
Positions are also available for CNAs who provide more personal care.
During an appearance on Sheridan Meida’s Public Pulse, The HUB on Smith’s Human Resources and Risk manager, Sheree Childers-Cossel told listeners a little about the duties performed by CNAs.
The Hub on Smith is also looking for a Registered Nurse in a part-time position.
