Hosted by Ptolemy Data Systems, a Managed Services Provider and Data Center company headquartered in Sheridan, the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Virtual Program will feature “How Secure Is Your Business?” presented by Laura Baker of CyberWyoming.
CyberWyoming is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization providing training and consulting to businesses, nonprofits and small government in Wyoming.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, CEO of Ptolemy Data Systems Jesus Rios told listeners a little about CyberWyoming.
According to Chamber CEO Dixie Johnson, Baker will examine Sheridan’s importance as Wyoming’s security hub. Baker will also discuss resources for businesses to assess their security and to make themselves more secure through the Made Safe in Wyoming program, its CyberSecurity Competition and Working Webinars.
Attendees also will hear from local employees who have participated in the Cybersecurity Competition about their experience with the program and how the knowledge gained has led to their businesses having more secure operations.
The Chamber Program will be held Wednesday, March 10, at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $10 and pre registration is required, a Zoom link will be sent to registered parties.
