Wellness Screenings a ‘Go,’ In-person Event a ‘No’

Wellness Screenings will be offered again this year, but the in-person event normally scheduled at the Johnson County Fairgrounds will not be happening this year, according to a release from the Johnson County Healthcare Center.
The wellness screenings will be offered in both Buffalo and Kaycee.
According to the release, community members must make an appointment and the screenings will be administered at the JCHC for Buffalo patients, and at the Kaycee Clinic for Kaycee residents.
Appointments will be taken for screenings in Buffalo on February 2nd and 3rd from 6 to 9:45am, and again on March 2nd and 3rd at the same time.
Kaycee screenings will be taken on February 11th and 12th from 7 to 9am.
There are some requirements for the screenings, and information on how to make an appointment online or by phone is listed below.
Those who have an appointment in Buffalo will be asked to come to the Johnson County Healthcare Center at the time of their appointment and park in the north parking lot.
At the time of their appointment, they will enter the north conference door, which will be marked with signs and a large, red, air-filled “man.”
They will be screened at the door.
Face coverings are required.
Temperatures will be taken upon arrival. If someone’s temperature reads 100.1 or higher, we will not be able to continue with the appointment.
