The HUB on Smith seeking drivers for meal program

The HUB on Smith Home Delivered Meals program is looking for drivers to give a little time any day of the week.

The meals are taken to individuals homes by dedicated volunteers who not only deliver meals but also check up on seniors who may have no other family or friends to do so. 

Meals from the HUB on Smith are delivered seven days a week to the homes of seniors that experience challenges preparing good, nutritious meals for themselves or who may have difficulty getting to the grocery store.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of the HUB on Smith Carmen Rideout told listeners that the organization is looking for a few good volunteers this holiday season.

Volunteers need to have time available for delivery 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Potential volunteers can contact the HUB on Smith for more information at jtribley@thehubsheridan.org or submit your application online here.
