County Approves Lease, Holiday Office Closure

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved a lease agreement and a closure of the county extension office over the holidays.
The closure is for the Johnson County Extension Office during the upcoming Christmas holiday break.
County Coordinator Brice McKenzie explained the
request.
The extension office will be closed from Thursday, December 24th through Sunday, January 3rd, and will reopen on Monday, January 4th.
Also discussed and approved was a lease agreement between the county and James Iberlin d/b/a/ Iberlin Mineral Partnership, for a hangar at the county airport.
The commission discussed the transfer of lease, saying it probably could have been handled by the airport board, but approved the transfer anyway.
